If that's the case, it's a toehold for Dems to get the South back into the party fold. Remarkable. And we can thank George W. Bush.

Not that I agree in polls, but the latest average in polling for Alabama* is

62%- McCain
36%- Buckwheat

Also in the same poll averages:

Georgia
49%- McCain
41%- Buckwheat

Note *

The Demographics for Alabama voters is almost exactly the same as is the split in population between black and white voters.

Point........Blacks are voting for the black candidate
Whites are voting for the white candidate

Who are you voting with?

I don't vote on color .......besides I've already voted.

Maybe you don't vote "ON" color. I'll concede that.

But if you voted for Obama, you have voted "WITH" his color.

You cannot deny that.

I got quite a chuckle out of a 94yr old{I believe from Montana} yesterday...I went into her room for night care ...she was watching news of some sort. She said to me....I don't get why all those Southerners are complaining about Obama....it was them that brought all those black folk into the country..... :D :D

Not true at all. There many slaveholders in the Northern states. Many were released by the British during the Revolutionary War to upset the labor and economical system there.

The "South" that did import most of the estimated 10,000,000 slaves sold by the Muslims went to South America. Only about 500,000 came to what is now the USA.

Thx for the history lesson Mike. I kinda figured "some" of the Northern states were slaveholders....hence Sandhusker and his attitude. I just found her comment funny, and YOU came to mind right away.
