Hay got cut this afternoon. Mr Lilly started on it around 1pm. Got it down, and then took a ride out in the jeep this evenin, had a few drops of rain, along with a little thunder. Rain all around us, but I don't think it did enuff on our hay to make much difference. Prolly be rollin it up Monday if all goes well.

We should have it all rolled up this afternoon. Sure would be nice if that brought some rain. Don't particularly care about havin any wind, but we sure could use the rain.

LOL and her name's "Dolly" reckon that'll give any indication how she's gonna be?

Looks like we are gonna be on the wet side of this thing,if it stays on the projected path, they say a drought is broken by a flood, dont need a flood but some rain sure would be welcome.
I dont hafta worry about it messin up my hay plans,we did'nt make a bale this year.
good luck

Got it all rolled up, and moved off the field. Uhgggg had a time of it, baler got stuck on the start of the first roll...clogged up......would only open about a foot. Finally after a couple hours, and the advice of a friend that works for John Deere, we got it unstuck, and back to rollin. Then about half way thru, broke a chain. Robbed parts for it offa the old baler. Was just the link thingy where you put the chain together came off. But alls well, it's done. I'm itchin, Mr Lilly done got his shower, while he was doin that, I was washin a horse, so now it's time for me to make a run thru the shower.

LOL......I washed the horse.....but I didn't wanna skeer him off. Geeze LOL

It wasn't a planned wash...they all wondered up. He sweats a whole lot more than the others. And was almost white with it dried on. And he got bathed yesterday too....he wondered over to where the water hose is, so I washed him down. Didn't even have a halter n lead rope. It's been 100 plus around here the last couple weeks. So I'm sure it felt good.

It was 100 here today too-- 90 by 11AM- and my day was done...I headed for the air conditioning...
I think they are saying the same for tomorrow- with a good possibility of severe thunderstorms tomorrow night....

Well................sittin here waitin for them Thunderstorms to roll in. Got a 60% chance this evenin, 40% chance tonight, and 60% chance tomorrow morning. We've had quite a bit of wind, not bad, just overly windy since yesterday afternoon.

LOL Had to come to Ranchers to look at the radar, because the weather channel is so zoomed in on Brownsville that our area isn't even on the screen :?

Well the storms pretty much missed me-- and maybe its good...I sure would have liked to get the 2-3 inches of rain that hit the area east of me and south of Big Muddy-- but it sounds like they got quite a bit of that white stuff and wind too over by Wolf Point and north toward Plentywood, Scobey area along the border...

Are you floating away Big Muddy :???: ...
