Looks like you had a pretty nice day to move them, Soapweed.

When is the storm supposed to hit and how bad do they
think it will be this time?

We just got home from Wyoming, dry as a bone the whole
way down and back.

Sounds like the storm is supposed to hit sometime tomorrow and go through Saturday night. Ten inches of snow could fall, with twenty mile per hour winds. It could get a little nasty.

sounded like they are calling it to be along a linefrom O'neil to Kearney and west....

last big storm they were talking snow and ice, all we got was a beautiful 2 inch rain..... so I would be all for another one of those!

hope you get through it up there.

Last storm right before Christmas left around 8 inches of snow here. Weatherman is saying it's gonna start snowing again tonight........

The weather boys are predicting 2-4 inches of snow for us up here-- Not supposed to be much wind -10-15 mph -- so maybe not much drifting...

I see on the radar this morning that a big share of central Montana is getting snow now and its moving northeast toward us....

Yesterday it was rain- 1/4" ice on some of the highways in AM- but temp then got up to about 40-- Saw several flocks of geese heading NORTH :???: I guess they thought it was spring...

The goosies are probably just trying to outrun the storm destined to hit the central part of the nation. It will be warmer and nicer if they fly north. :)

We are forcaseted for 18" (could be as little as 6 or as much as 30!!). We still aren't over the last storm from last week (22").

My hubby started a 14 hour a day job yesterday, so I am now in charge of feeding...... This will be my first Blizzard alone. Not looking forward to it.

Friends are coming over today to put a bale out for the cows, but I'll still have to pitch to the bulls.

Keep me in your thoughts!! You'll probably be able to hear me cuss the snow from 2 states away.  :p

Good luck to all of you that are facing it as well (and have many more cows then I do).

Here's to getting the blizzards out of the way BEFORE calving. :D

The horse the Cosmo Kid is riding, Sundance, looks to be a perfect twin to one I've got. He looks like he must stand close to 16H, is that right?

If he's anything like mine, he's a smooth mover and can cover lots of country with his big stride.

Buckerette just go bullfight those critters of yours in your snowshoes that will get your heart pumping and keep you warm. How is your futurity bull coming along.

Sundance is a big tall horse, he's smooth and can cover lots of country. You have a good eye for a horse's abilities and read this one correctly. You get an "A" for the day. :)

Judith -- I hate that I've been gone so long. The good news is, work is keeping me busy. Bad news is, work is keeping me busy. :)

I do get on and read, well, look at the pretty pictures everyone posts. But haven't found time to post. I will try harder.

How have you been?

Northern Rancher -- I figure I'll either get tough or die.. I'm rooting for tough.

The futurity bull is doing good. He ended up 22nd out of 160 for the year end (I think that is right, close to that).

we are getting him ready for classics. With my hubby working so much, we'll probably have to sale him or partner on him. That's going to be hard because I'm so attached to him.

I'm trying not to get attached to the coming 2 because it'll be the same for them.
