Getting Ready for Fall calves

Bringing the fall cows out of summer pasture.

Moving them to the calving pasture.

Heading toward the corrals.

The weeds did good.

Kicking up dust.

Corral full of cows.

Pouring them for flies.

Caught these two hooligans trying to slash the tires on my ATV. So I put them to work.

Portable calving shed.

Was temporarily used for chicken coop this summer.

Kid bringing the panels.

All set up.

First time operator.

Headed towards the calving pasture.

Heading out the gate.

In the pasture looking back at the calving shed. Now just waiting for the first calf.

Looks like you have everything ready and raring to go. Your country looks great, and so do your cattle. Thanks for the pictures.

Like the idea behind that portable calving shed. It'd sure beat cleaning those things out every time if one happened to move it every so often. Must be pretty handy to have right there in the pasture with the cows.

That portable calving shed looks like a couple that we have! Aren't they great! Never thought of using one for a chicken coop. Darn! Guess I'll get the guys busy bringing one close to the buildings. Anyone have laying hens for sale? :p :D

Enjoyed your pictures, sandtrap. Looks like a family affair. Where are you located?
