Looks like the tide is changing. Finally guys who once accused Ron Paul of being weak on foreign policy are beginning to see the wisdom.

Of course, there won't be any apologies for the thousands of lives and trillions of dollars we've wasted meddling in other people's business.

And trying to force freedom on others while we're losing it at home.

Bush was right. Taking the fight to them instead of on our soil was the best decision.

Look back at Jefferson's fight with Muslims............ He took it to Tripoli.

“I am a neoconservative. But at some point, even if you are a neoconservative,

“I am very proud of what [Operation Iraqi Freedom commander Gen.] Tommy Franks did — up to the moment of deciding how to transfer power to the Iraqis. Then we go off a cliff,”

“It may be that our capacity to export democracy is a lot more limited than we thought,” he said.

confusing what was tried in Iraq with our system is like taking Praise for Rand Paul and and heaping it on Ron Paul's ideas..

nothing in this articles says ignore Iran... and that the wars them selves were wrong...

it just conceded the NEO-con views were naive and fell off a cliff..

Sometimes Newt isn't very bright..
if you take Newts thinking on this issue and nation building and broadly apply it to our inner cities,.. you may come up with the same conclusion towards minorities... '

the problem isn't so much the people of the middle east... it is the backwards Islamist who make up appear to make up a majority of the population of the middle east...
