The POINT (besides the one on the top of your head) is that it is WRONG for ALL concerned. WRONG WRONG WRONG, regardless of your political stripe or persuasion. Why are so many of you so afraid to criticize your party of choice? Many of you obviously have some sort of left wing agenda you're trying to push by playing some sort of head games, but you wont convince to switch my vote to the left. I'm beginning to think there's a lot of closet liberals in here

You brought up Palin's targets on a map so I ask you why do you think we should criticize her for that since it was a DEMOCRAT that invented it? Should we not blame those that started the practice DECADES AGO?

This thread was about HOFFA, an Obama's supporter, ignoring Obama's request for civility. You bringing Palin into the thread is an attempt to distract the topic off the fact Obama is turning a blind eye to his supporters behavior. The main problem is Obama can't expect his supporters to stop when he is leading them with heated rhedoric like this.

"If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun," Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser Friday night. "Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I've seen Eagles fans."

GREAT EXAMPLE of civility from a guy requesting it isn't it SILVER?

I turned a blind eye to nothing Tam, merely added that it's all wrong from all sides.... I think your comprehension levels are diminishing over time. What have I said to make you think I favour Obama / Dems over the GOP in any way?
I also said this in another thread:

Doesn't matter who said it or why, it's wrong and inexcusable. Shame on Hoffa and shame on Obama for not coming out against it.

Tam, you really need to stop jumping to conclusions, it is unbecoming. You are so typical of the Left, always making false accusations and making assumptions

pot calling the kettle black EH silver :D :D :D :D :D

Of course silver favors the dems. Just look at this post. He didn't condemn Hoffa or obama but he did choose to go outside the people in this post and picked a conservative to ridicule.

Then he posts this slanted piece of lying crap
When the woman with the worlds most irritating voice was posting pictures with targets over her opponents that was okay by the right

Your comprehension level seems to be the one lacking as I never said YOU were turning a blind eye I said OBAMA WAS. I said You are distract the topic in hopes the rest of us will forget about his actions and turn on Palin. SHE IS NOT THE TOPIC OF THE THREAD HOFFA AND OBAMA ARE

And sorry if I respond to what I read without searching the rest of the website to see if you are saying something different in another thread.
In this thread you are using Democrat tactics to deflect the whole point of this thread. If you truly feel Hoffa and Obama were wrong then why bring up Palin. That Silver is a DEMOCRAT TACTIC.

You are like a rubber ball with all your bouncing around.

Oh I didn't claim how you vote . I just say that you have the half baked leftwing garbage that you spew. Notice that I didn't say you had ideas or thinking..that would be stretching it for you.

I doubt Silver favours any one party over the other, when it comes to the US.

while some might consider him a "leftie" in the US, I would consider him a "conservative" in Canada. The only time I have had any disagreements with Silver, those disagreements have been on the historical evolution of ideologies versus a traditional/static view of those ideologies. (shifting of political spectrum)

And for what it's worth, Canada's type of "conservatism", which has been called "socialism" by some in the US, seems to be working better than the US style of either "conservatism" or "socialism". More of a hybrid system, IMO.

What's the difference, in how people react to either, and the success or either, when it comes to Canada/US?

Even if I were in the US I could never vote Democrat, but I don't know how that could preclude me from criticizing the Grand Old Party if I saw something I didn't like. Apparently that's unacceptable to many, but how does one expect to improve things if one can't hold one's own party / politicians to the highest standard?

Anyway, I'm glad it's taboo to criticize this boards party of choice because what else would I do for entertainment when Ranch Talk is slow.

Silver you must not of visited here much because there has been a lot of condemning the Reps on here by conservatives.

WOW this coming from a Canadian. Tell me Silver do you keep your criticizing for just the GOP or are you a equal opportunity critizer? Seems you don't mind critizing the US system when things a unacceptable but when it comes to things that are unacceptable in Canada NOT SO MUCH. Speaking of a OUR taboo issue, maybe you can tell me, how are we in Canada expected to improve what we see as unacceptable when people try shut us down at the mention our Healthcare system? :?
