Global Warming - I Hope For!!!

Looks like the weather boys are predicting a warmer and dryer winter for much of the nation-- with the northwest and mountains getting above normal snow...Above normal temps for most of the east and south, altho remaining dry--Pretty well normal for the plains- altho I don't like what he said about the extreme cold in western and northern Canada- as the Canadians usually leave the door open and that stuff usually sinks down and gets me....Or Mrs. Greg sends down one of those Alberta Clippers
A strong La Nina has set in-- which around here can be good or bad...

JOE BASTARDI'S ACCUWEATHER.COM WINTER FORECAST
The extended winter forecast for the months of November through March calls for a cooler than normal start and end but the traditional winter months, December through February, may be one of the top 10 warmest winters ever for the southeastern United States. The heat will be centered over the Tennessee Valley and the Carolinas. For the nation as a whole, this winter will be warmer than last winter; especially in the second half of January and February when last winter season was at its coldest.

Where did you get that????????

Front page of the Rapid City paper said "colder and
with more snow" for the northern plains.

Guess we can take our pick of forcasts...

AS USUAL!!!!!!!

We'll know for sure this time next year!!!!

But OT, I really appreciate your weather forcasts.
What you get and report here is usually better than
any others I have access to...SO DON'T STOP!!! :p :)

We've had that cold, wet, and white stuff on and off all day, too. At least it's melting as soon as it hits the ground.

Could send you what we had this morn,hint....its cold, wet and WHITE

We had "snain" this morning--Weather boys said it was another fast moving Alberta Clipper - but by noon the sun was shining and it was nice...
La Nina years can be both good and bad around here--usually means colder-with less snow- which is what I need since the haystack is a little shorter than normal, but I have lots of grass...But that doesn't always hold true  Don't like hearing about the colder than normal in Canada prediction tho....
