Me and the daughter are headin' down to visit my family next week. I'm taking a little filly to a good friends' daughters. While I'm there I'm going to see most of my family and pick up a stud. Coming home, we'll be visiting more family in OK and then a stop in El Reno to pick up a new TB mare. I'm not sure what route we are taking down yet, but most likely through Raton and Amarillo. A gal from over at Buffalo, WY moved down there and is looking for a ride for her horses to her new home. I hope that deal works out so I can offset some of the fuel costs. Maybe I can run into some of y'all.

Wave when you go through Texline ...look to the right as you go through town right before Allsups you will see a red house wave.

Make sure you also wave as you go through Clayton NMrancher lives outside of town.

Trying to think who else is in this corner of BFE.
My luck I will be at work when you come through LOL

ROFLMBO good luck in Texline. I will get service in certan spots in my house then the next day I have to find the new spots to have service. ALl employees who live here are the only ones allowed to text into work sick since all of us have issues with cell service.
It drives shoer crazy we will be talking then the call drops then I cant call out and he cant call back in.

Yall have a safe trip

We made it back and had a quick uneventful trip. I ended up working out some deals to haul horses down and some others back. That really helped with the fuel as I was taking the trailer anyhow to bring a couple back for myself. The guy who I was taking some down for ended up being eight hours late. I was not happy. The daughter and I got to spend a day with my family, but we had to get back on the road. I brought back a foundation bred stud for us and also a thoroughbred mare that I have high hopes for.

The weather down there was sure a big change. It got up to 85-90 degrees. They can have it as far as I'm concerned. Between the heat and all of the people, I was ready for Wyoming again. I hit Cheyenne and drove straight into a whiteout and 40 mph winds. Sure is good to be home.

Actually yes. I took one filly down for my friends daughters and I brought the stud and mare back. The filly that I took down is out of that gray Leo mare that you are familiar with. I had a chance to bring back several nice foundation geldings but I had to decline. Threats of bodily harm and banishment to the tackroom prevailed upon my attachment to a happy and healthy homelife. The Hostile Native can be very persuasive.
