Yeah FH, I think this is the 2nd time he has sold it. Some people bought it and didn't make the payments and then took a bunch of furnishings when they left. He wound up with it again and let it sit idle for a while. Now someone new has it I think. Its a neat little bar, but the water treatment plant is right behind it. Hence the name. Especially if the wind is right. But it does have western character about it. I usually stop and try to support our Canadian neighbors when I can.

I usually dine off Tony Schiffer's BBQ but Ty and I ate there last spring-there's a good steak place halfways between Buffalo and Ten Sleep too. I've had lots of fun in the turdpond watching Squirm take everybody's money at that dice game they play. I think Buffalo, wyoming is one of the friendliest and prettiest places to live-you know I have been known to take some of its inhabitants fishing if they venture north.

Used to, I would take you up on a fishing trip. I used to travel allover for work though and I am burned out on roadtrips. And the way things are anymore, I think home is the best place to be. People are getting crazier and crazier it seems. When I finally got settled down I did it good. I'm a major homebody now. One of these days though, I am going to Calgary. But if you come down here I can dang sure show you some fun. Maybe we could hit some horsesales. That's my little vacation. I love to go watch, even if I don't buy anything.

Thankyou very much for the prayers and kind words everyone. It really meant a lot to me knowing that kind people are still out there. That's what is so nice about this site. I know that when I come here I'm not going to be subjected to trash and smut. At the moment my muscles are fairly sore. The procedure they did is a pretty new way to do it, and my doc was one of the ones who was in on the development. He just made 2 one inch incisions down low in each backstrap. The they insert a tube in each and inflate them. This gives him room to remove the bad disc and install the new spacer. The old way to do it was to fillet the backstrap off of the bone. That is why so many people had trouble afterward. They injected some happy juice in my IV and then wheeled me into the operating room. There I got something to knock me out. The next thing I know, I'm in recovery and done. They don't actually cut the back muscles they wiggle thru and around. Eliminating all but the bare minimum scar tissue. The muscles they went thru are all that hurts and that's to be expected. If anyone in this region needs neuro-spine work done, I very highly recommend Dr. John Schneider. He has an office in Billing, Sheridan and Cody. After seeing 4 docs here in Gilltte and getting 4 different diagnosis, I had a friend refer me to Dr. Scheider. This man is great with no cocky arrogance. He was very concerned and caring and his staff is impeccable. I will be down for a while till I heal up, so I get to keep bugging everyone here. So lookout OT and AG. I'm ready to argue. Thanks again everyone. I appreciate the prayers. Knowing i y'all were bending Gods ear on my behalf helped calm my fears. Have a very blessed day everyone.

Thanks for the encouraging words HAYMAKER. Gillette has really grown just since I've been here. The energy boom brought people in from everywhere. There are quite a few bars now. I actually live a little closer to Wright, so if I want a drink I go there. I'm pretty claustrophobic so I stay out of Gillette if possible. The last time I went to Walmart was in October. I had to spend a bunch but I try to make my trip worth it.

I will be working at the finals this year. My job will be checking, inspecting and tagging horses as they come in. I got snookered into doing it back in 05. So I figured I will do it again. Provided my back is well enough to let me do it. It should be fun. Surely there will be someone from Ranchers.net there with there kids. It would be nice to meet some of the people here.
