Good for Miss California

I admire her also. She had the courage to speak her convictions probably knowing it wouldn't sit well with everyone.

As evidenced by the last election in CA, she was actually speaking the views of the majority in that state.

and still lost

Here is the judge trying to argue for Gay marriage. He believes that she should have been more "politically correct", in other words, he didn't get the answer he wanted.

Dennis Prager and Perez Hilton on Larry King

exactly, and then she was called every name in the book and the judge that asked for her opinion said she lost because she was not politically correct and they wanted a "politically correct" spokesman.

But she expressed the opinion of Obama, and the majority of CA.

exact same as prop 8, they asked the question, people answered, and those for Gay marriage went on a rampage and et their way in the end,

Who's not politically correct? Gay marriage reminds me of those "slippery slope" steps.

She spoke her convictions, based on religious beliefs, and the pageant allowed it to politicized. No word on whether she gets koodos for being a strong intelligent woman that stands up for rights and beliefs though.

Really, the question should not even have been part of the contest. It was a loaded question and no matter what the answer would have been....it would have been wrong to someone.

These contests are like cattle shows anyway..... Why answer questions in a bikini???? That has NOTHING to do with some one's mind.

Look at what a genius Steven Hawking is....wanna get him to answer questions while wearing a bathing suit....I think not!!!

But, many of you guys here attack posters when they plainly state their opinion and it's not to your liking.....it happens here.

It happens here, it happens everywhere.

Political Bull says it all doesn't it. Maybe they should change the name of the pageant.

The "Politically Correct Ms America Pageant". Then they'd have a hint what they are being judged on!

This politically correct stuff is going to get us in trouble sooner or later.

and if you look at the 6 steps that MoGal posted that is exactly how that works.

Something that is so disgusting goes from step 1. to being Politically incorrect in step 6 where you are charged with a hate crime for expressing your personal views!

This pageant was a perfect example of how things are going.

Thanks for a perfect example of the "Political Bull" that's going on, Soapweed. Some of us got the message.

You know, I sleep a lot better at night knowing Perez Hilton is on watch for what is right & wrong in this country. If it was up to him I'd probably have to trade a beautiful redhead for something closer to a boer goat. Now that I think about it he kinda resembles an angora   :p :p :p

Here is another video. Carrie Prejean is quite a lady. She certainly has my respect and admiration.
