Mitt Romney has taken a six-point lead over President Obama in the latest Gallup national tracking poll.
The new polls Gallup and Rasmussen conducted after Tuesday night's presidential debate shows Mitt Romney is gaining momentum vs President Obama.
The Rasmussen Poll shows President Obama is getting 85 percent of the vote from Democrats, while Romney is supported by 87 percent of Republicans. Among voters not affiliated with either major party Mitt Romney has a nine-point advantage.
According to today's new Real clear politics average poll Romney leads President Obama 47.4% to 46.9%.
According to the latest National Rural Assembly poll, rural voters in swing states favor Mitt Romney by 22 points. In 2008, Barack Obama lost among rural voters in swing states by just a little more than two percentage points.
