Good Ole Number 4

Leaf fans tend to strike out blindly alot like their 'D' on a two on 1-I hpe they trade Luke schenn out of their before they wreck him lol. When I see a Manning playing at 40 like Favre does then I'll be impressed!

Gosh I hope Manning doesn't....then he'd be on a LOSING TEAM!!!!

here's one for all you Favre fans

Judge makes unprecedented ruling. Another case of truth being stranger than fiction...

Minnesota (CP) -A seven-year-old Minneapolis boy was at the center of an Minneapolis city courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.

The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy alleged they had also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Minnesota Vikings, whom the boy and judge both firmly believe are not capable of beating anyone. :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

that joke would have worked if the vikes had a 0 win season or even a losing record. but they were a win away from the superbowl. they must have beat a few teams.....right? :?

Yanuck, Dont let this bunch of Viking fans sway ya! They have been mucking it up for decades. If Fran Tarkenton couldn't win a superbowl in 4 trys there is zero chance of Brett "I'm retireing, no wait, I'm done, but maybe I'll come back, NEVER, EVER, No way! Unless a good team wants me" Farve will get them there. He has won one superbowl! Quarterbacks who rank above him to me, Title's in ( ): Joe Montana (4), Terry Bradshaw (4), Tom Brady (3) and Troy Aikman (3). Even Elway got two! Steve Young got one while waiting for half his career on the bench. Farve is a good QB who ruined his legacy by hanging around too long and peeing in the faces of the Green Bay fans who had his back for years! Kinda like Carlos Boozer out here for the Jazz. A talented player with not much class or loyalty. Not the guy I want to hang my hopes on~ :D

       Tom Brady isn't a real fav of mine either....but other than that...I like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasnt trying to be mean. I just don't like Farve because of how he wants to stick it to the owners and coaches in Green Bay. He forgot that all those folks in the stands paid his salary and loved him enough to name a street after him. He forgot their loyalty to him when the team was horrible. He forgot everything that should of been important. He remebered how to throw interceptions late in playoff games though! Katrina, I grew up cheering for the Steelers in the 70's and I still like them. But I don't get to wrapped up with pro sports anymore. Too much of a disconnect between me and billionaires and millionaires. Sorry if I rained on your parade! But Minnesota took a chance on a classless guy and it came back to bite them. :???: My 2 cents and not worth half that.

i respectfully disagree

Yeah me too-Favre is a warrior-I underestood Packers moved him so they could bring along the young guy-anybody who played with him loved him as teammate and that is the true acid test.

Same thing happened in San Francisco with Montana and Young. Montana went to KC, played pretty good, then retired. Farve would of been fine going to the Jets and doing the same thing. But he HAD to join the Vikings, The hated rival of the Packers, out of a screw you attitude. Is Farve a tough SOB? Sure. Is he a fantastic QB? Sure. Is he also a loose cannon that throws horrible picks at the worst times? Sure. Difference between Montana and Farve (Other than rings)......... To me it's respect. Ask Fran Tarkenton about Brett! I don't even have a dog in the fight, I just think Farve sure threw the fans in Green Bay under the bus.

Gay. Sorry, but I don't know what other word to use. That is a very odd joke considering a 14-4 record and the absolute spanking they put on the Cowboys.

Now, if you had said that about my Chiefs......................well, I guess I wouldn't have much of an arguement!
