Good Sunday Mornin'

Good Sunday Mornin’ from Wisconsin. Does that lady look like she is enjoying my grandkids or what! It is fun to see the kids and grandkids again. I often hear how it is a grandparents responsibility to spoil the grandkids and send them home. Now I do believe that grandparents should allow some privileges that aren’t available from mom & dad, but I also think that most children lack the expertise and experience to be in charge. Grandma and grandpa still need to be in control. The Lord has laid on G’ma & G’pa the responsibility to their grand children to teach them the concepts and ways of the Lord—“Thou shalt teach them to thy children and thy children’s children”. The love of the Lord must be passed from generation to generation, and it must begin at home. Well we’ll be workin’ at it hard this week! What fun!! Have yourselves a good Sunday mornin’ and a fine rest of the week also.

A friend sent me this a couple of weeks ago. It seems to fit in with your sermon this week about ("The love of the Lord must be passed from generation to generation, and it must begin at home.") Takes a little while to load. Turn up your volume!

Shortgrass!

Thanks again for your weekly message. Your Grandkiddos are a good lookin' brood.

Enjoy your trip and stay with them, and remember to have some "squeeky" curds! They're great fried as well. You're in a very beautiful state.

Safe travels, and God Bless...

Cheers---

Thanks, Shortgrass. Grandma looks like she is very much enjoying her responsibilities.

Thank you also, fedup2, for telling us about that cute video. The little gal is pretty sharp, and she is being brought up right.

We were on a road trip this week-end, and had the radio on in the car. On one program, there was a taped conversation from many years ago, with the verbal exchange being between Woody Allen and Billy Graham. It was good natured banter between the agnostic, Woody, and the tremendous evangelist, Billy. There was no animosity, and both sides of the "case" were presented. Woody would give his comedic humanistic point of view and Billy would respond with equal humour from the viewpoint of the Scriptures. It was a great verbal exchange. I think Woody had to have been positively influenced by Billy's engaging personality and generous way of sharing the Gospel.

Here is that clip, if anyone wants to see it.
