Good Sunday Mornin'

Black Friday--Folks worried about black ink or red ink. Did we get this or that bought? Others worried about bigger issues like the machinery broke down, or someone offended over some comment or health issues? Sometimes we get very concerned about things that seem small to others, but in our lives they are major. Others are concerned about some really hard things. Life gets pretty hard sometimes. Wonder what things are concerning the boys in Iraq and Afghanistan? Where did they sleep last night, or did they? What did they eat? If they got it, their turkey and mashed spuds were probably more appreciated than most. Let us not forget to appreciate them, their families and the commitment and sacrifice for our Christian Nation. I thank God for them and His mercies toward all of us, even though many are turning their back on Him and rejecting His sacrifice for us. Makes the words of the Battle Hymn of the Republic hit home: "Christ died to make men holy, let us die to make men free." In all that we are thankful for let us not lose sight of the One we are grateful to. Jesus Christ. Thank God for His sacrifice, and the sacrifice of the American Soldier. Well have yourselves a good Sunday mornin', and a fine rest of the week too.

Thanks Shortgrass for reminding us that in spite of all of the problems right in front of us that when we look at the big picture we have a whole lot to be thankful for.

Good thoughts Shortgrass.
We make to much effort to follow the crowd or to be political correct, but forget about the important things in life. Remember, Jesus said we often strain out thhe gnat but swallow the camel.

Amazing message this morning Shortgrass! I have to work a lot of Sunday's now and your my sermon! Thanks for taking the time and for putting your conviction behind it. I have an old plaque on the wall that says, "It doesn't matter what you have or where you go, but who you have beside you." Glad I get to ride around folks like yourself.
