Good Sunday Mornin"

In the Ag community, hard work is respected as a virtue, but all too often we associate worth with production. Dads, be careful as you deal with sons. Let them know that their work and efforts are appreciated, but let them know that they are of value apart from that. We hear statements like “he is worthless because he sleeps until 7:30” or some other comment relating value to productivity. When we get to heaven, I doubt that the Lord will ask how many postholes could you dig in a day? Or perhaps what time did you get up or go to bed? Our value in God’s eyes has nothing to do with how well we rope, or how straight we drive a tractor. Don’t ask me why He sees value in us, but he loves us enough to give His all! He just loves us, and that is pretty amazing. Well have a good Sunday mornin’ and a fine rest of the week.

Man! I was hopin' my posthole diggin' would help overlook all my other faults! :x :???: Great message as always Shortgrass. I am glad God has a lot of tender patience with me and blesses me even when I don't feel deserving of it.

That is a very fundamental lesson that dads need to learn, shortgrass. I'm still working on that one . . .

I'm still working on that one, and so is my dad. :)

Thanks, Shortgrass, for another fine message.
