I really admire what you're doing JingleBob. When you won the photo contest with your skating, it touched off a poem in me. You'll be missed here. Later--EP
Let me tell you something
About this worldly man
You probably know him as Jinglebob,
I call him a man with a plan
He may look like an old cowboy
But don’t judge him by his dress
Cause when it comes to poetry
His words will surely impress
Those hands look rough and caloused
But I’ve seen ‘em strum along
Making music worth listening to,
That man, can sing a song.
Then there’s his leather work
JB has mastered that fine art
If you can get him to make a saddle
It darn sure won’t fall apart.
Heck he’s even been on tv.
An actor, what do you make of that!
But somewhere I heard thru the grapevine
When he saw himself, he got a bigger hat!
Let’s face it, this man is a pool of talent
Will the surprises ever cease,
This backhoeing, roping cowboy
Ice skates with aparent ease!
I’m sure there’s at least a dozen or more
Talents this fine man must possess
But I’m betting his being a Christan rancher
Has something to do with his success.
Cause I know the country where he comes from
And it’s not for the meek and mild
The summers can be hot, dry and firey
Winters cold, windy and wild
This is about all I know about him
Perhaps there’s things I ain’t heard
But I’d trade horses with him anyday
Cause I know.... he’s a man of his word!
