GOP surges ahead in generic congressional ballot

Hey TSR, what ever came of that shutdown anyway...

A new CNN poll shows Republicans vaulting into the lead in the generic congressional ballot. By 49-47, voters now favor the GOP in House races.

Democrats led by 8 points last month.

The 10-point swing follows a political uproar over Obamacare, which included the botched rollout of HealthCare.gov and controversy over insurance policy cancelations due primarily to the new health law.

The turnaround in the CNN/ORC poll follows similar shifts in recent national surveys from Quinnipiac University and Fox News.

The swing had everything to do with the fact the Democrats followed their leader Obama over the Obamacare cliff when he knowingly lied and they did nothing to stop him. They knew he was repeatedly lying for political purposes as they voted against a REPUBLICAN fix to the major problem with people losing their insurance back in 2010 when the Grandfather clause was written. They now have to live with THEIR OWN VOTING RECORDS. Let's just hope that the voters remember all Obama's lies and the Dems voting records next fall.

What the Republicans need to do is prove the Democrats are LYING every time they spew their Obama talking points saying the Republicans have no plans to replace Obamacare.

They have said they would like to see cross border Insurance shopping to increase competition. They have commented about TORT REFORM, a very big step to stop the ballooning Healthcare costs. They need to work with Insurance companies on the pre-existing condition problems. And they need to set up health care saving accounts that are tax deductible so people putting money away to pay for their own healthcare get a break. These would be a start in the right direction right after they repeal the horrid mess the Dems hoisted on the US tax payers and their unborn Grandchildren with THEIR LIES. They need to let people know that once this Obamacare mess is gone their Healthcare will be back in their's and their Doctors hands and not in some 15 member un-elected board that Obama uses Reid's Nuclear Option to appoint.

They certainly should do all that..........but they don't. :x It's a mess and they are part of it. Don't expect it to change anytime soon. If a younger Republican comes up with something fresh that does good for the country, they manage to destroy it and them. :x I'm throroughly disgusted. I think the only hope is the Tea Party and their candidates. Is that enough? Doubtful. We have been railroaded by both parties. What is it WW says?
Oh yeah, "Pizz on the ashes. It's over."

Let's just hope the Pubs remind the country. That's what they need to do, but they aren't very good at it.

looks like they are getting some help in getting that message out...
