AngusinTexas-- that doesn't really work so well anymore..These scumsucker sales outfits and telepromoters have found a loophole in the law- that says if they are returning a call on an inquiry or someone they have done business with previously or have connections to- they can legally do it...That is the reason they want phone lists from the AAA or credit card company you do business with or whatever- then if questioned can claim they are connected and promoting it for that business associate ...Its made the "don't call" listing almost worthless....
Again our lawmakers have failed in the laws they passed...There are also loopholes for any charity organization or politician :roll:
And as far as accents I have to agree with you Yanuck...I sometimes have a hard time understanding some of those southerners...I almost hung up on my cute little former Georgia (married a Montana cowboy) game warden/biologist the other day- thinking it was just another one of those telepromoters...But she's so cute I could listen to her all day, even if I didn't understand a word shes saying :wink:
