Thats good Lilly, you get it rolled up and you will one of the few folks that has hay in TX,those buzzards are protected by law or I would shoot em on site, they do a lil good cleaning up road kills etc,but they dont wait for a rancher to get to the back fourty and doctor a weak or sick head of livestock if its in a weakened state its dinner .................good luck

If this had been a weak calf or somethin else wrong with it, I woudlnt have minded so much, but he was perfectly healthy. But I did wonder somethin. This is the calf I tagged by myself the other day, with the mom lookin over her shoulder at me. She never offered to bother me. I'm really wonderin if she even attempted to keep the buzzards fought off him. I posted pictures of when I tagged him and how calm she was....but ya know.....I'm really beginnin to wonder....think I'd rather have a mama that acted like she was gonna git me. Least then I'd know she was protectin the calf. (now that's a Toss up)

Hope your cow makes it Haymaker. We usually slide a few uterin boluses in there before we sew them up. Sure helps fight infection, along with the la 200. Good looking Hay Grazer, good color, hope you get some moisture. :)
