This goes back to comments made by Steve Nash, a Canadian.

I’m against it. I think this is a bill that really damages our civil liberties, I think it opens up potential for racial profiling and racism. I think that it’s a bad precedent to set for young people. I think it represents our state poorly in the eyes of the nation and the world.

funny thing is, I don't remember Angusgord or Jingo2 letting us know that Nash should keep his nose on his side of the fence.

Doesn't the NBA require immigration papers for players before they hire/contract them, or did they hire Steve Nash illegally?

That is a fantastic analogy. I'm sure liberals would try to come up with some weak, feeble way to refute it, but it seems spot-on to me.
