I can't stand the twerp, but,.. I think her heart is in the right place and she should be supported.

maybe I cold rethink late term abortions, say 18 to 30 year old termination of un-viable pregnancies in his case. after all he is no longer a baby.

I wonder if it is time to take abortion off the table as a divisive issue, that is, to say first educate and provide most effective pregnancy prevention methods; proponents pay costs either via special taxes, or fund raising like many of us do to help pay costs for catastrophic illness or injury patients in many areas of SD, for instance; to pay for it, NO taxpayer money can be used because not all taxpayers favor abortion, and the act does cause death of a living being; the reluctant 'mother to be' must be fully informed as to how an abortion is done, including facts about suffering of the 'preborn baby'; emphasize and encourage carrying the baby long enough to be delivered as a living, adoptable baby, including some financial assistance to the adoptive parents via whatever form of 'welfare' is available to natural parents who qualify for and receive it for their own natural children. And this new program and the existing 'welfare type' programs should include education, with passing grades required, to train people how to manage their finances and jobs in order to pay their own way and build savings programs before becoming pregnant; Again, all costs should be paid by the voluntary fund raising efforts of proponents, just like money is raised for other events the proponents of said events believe worthy of such efforts. Many people in our communities often work very hard to raise money from private individuals, not government agencies, in order to help people with catastrophic illnesses, accidents, or even 'acts of God and/or Mother Nature'. People who believe strongly that abortion is the best way to solve a problem should be at least equally motivated enough to raise the money to pay the costs.

Your response is a common sense approach to a difficult issue,.. but sadly, for liberals nothing is common sense anymore.. in our area, just south of Atlantic city, and not far enough from Camden/ Philadelphia we get all sorts of societies unwanted, and you would be mortified to hear some of the stories.

My wife volunteered with homeless families (woman with children) and many had multiple abortions and most just said BC was either to much of a hassle, or they didn't like how it made them feel... I am not sure how she put up with it, she said it was to give the children a bit of a chance to be cared for, but I doubt it did much good.. they are well educated, they just do not care enough about themselves or the consequences of their own actions.. As long as someone else is paying they will never learn.

Another 15.6% report using Medicaid
(state funding) The Hyde Amendment does not prevent states from making taxpayers pay for elective abortions, and many states are effectively doing this through their Medicaid programs. Thus, in 17 states taxpayers are compelled to pay for most abortions. In California alone, it appears taxpayers are paying for roughly 80,000 abortions per year

then there is how PP gets around the rules.
http://thefederalist.com/2015/10/14/4-ways-planned-parenthood-has-billed-taxpayers-for-elective-abortions/

the divisive issue allows PP to make money off all of this " That abortion revenue appears to make up a sizable part of the $765 million profit Planned Parenthood has made over the last decade."

Until it comes out of these woman's benefits or they have to pay for it themselves they will continue to use abortion as birth control.
