After the backlash of that, I kinda figured he'd be gone by now.
At $5,000.00 a pop, where's all this talk of recession?

Mike said:This is not just about sex at all.
This man was the top "cop" in NY and the top CEO of that state. When the investigation started, the IRS got red flags from a bank about strange and frequent money transfers.
This tripped some laundering or embezzlement questions. When the FBI dug further, they found out he was sending money to an illegal entity and that it could possbly put him in the catbird seat to be blackmailed.
I personally don't care if the guy is a Democrat or a Republican, he is corrupt and should be punished to the full extent.
His whole life has been about ruining the lives of others for doing the exact same things. There should be no double standard.
The same thing goes for Renzi. If he's guilty. Slam the door behind him.
But, pizzy little minds can't ever see the bigger picture.
Craig is doing to Idaho and the Republican Party...

We seem to be a country that is sooooo obsessed with someone's sex life and details......that we let murders go , i.e. OJ Simpson.
I saw if this is ALL that it is....FORGET IT and move on.
There are bigger issues we as a country need to be obsessed about than what happened in Rm 817 @ the Mayflower in DC.
But, pizzy little minds can't ever see the bigger picture.

GOP Calls For Craig To Quit Get Louder
Among indications that support in his home state of Idaho is evaporating, several GOP lawmakers yesterday called on Sen. Larry Craig to resign his Senate seat. In addition, the Washington Post reports Republican leaders "stripped him of his committee assignments." Senate GOP leaders "said that Craig 'agreed to comply' with their request." The Post adds that the "intensity of the Republican leaders' assault on one of their own was stunning. ... Several ethics lawyers and experts could not provide an example in the past two decades of one senator calling for the ethics committee to investigate a colleague." White House spokesman Scott Stanzel "expressed disappointment 'in the matter' and said he hopes the ethics committee will do its work swiftly, 'as that would be in the best interests of the Senate and the people of Idaho.'"
