do not forget to remove the chocochips from the cookies you send to friends, they add fat!!!
ohhh what about the sugar in your coffee.
and ohhhhh cafine.
do not forget eggs!!!
red meat!!
e coli from veggies
candy that rots our teeth
coke or pepsi
do not forget the dangers from getting stuck by a cactus, might have had some bird poo on it.
what about the bug sprays we use to keep the pesky little critters away.
seems to me i read something sometime ago about to much time on a cell phone was not safe
too much time typing on a keyboard developed carpal!
and something to do with the monitor causeing eyestrain!
come on fols enough is enough

high concentrate of vapors from the fuels we use. he!! lets just ban living, unless the goverment oks it.

there is a time to stop the so called protectors that are trying to protect us from ourselves, if i chose to destroy myself so be it!!
if i cannot afford the health care to make me better so be it, do not expect others to pay for my problems.

this only became a problem when the bleeding hearts decided that none of us had the right to stand up and care for ourselves and our own actions!

i chose to smoke for over 50 yrs, those around me CHOSE to stick around
me, i quit 2 yrs ago and i chose to continue to hang around friend that smoke, are they responsible if i get cancer? according to the bleeders YES!! will the BLEEDERS try and get me health care YES, WHY????
so they can have that feel good feeling about driving the cost of health care up at every ones expense! when it was my choice to do what i done!
i suppose the weight i gained after quitting has to be because i must be eating more fat! or not getting enough excercize, that is my fault but thank you bleeding hearts because of you i know that i can live a few more yrs and spend countless of dollars on an old guy instead of putting the money to a better use trying to save a young persons life!!!

if this was the case (which it isn't) i want to thank all of you liberals who provide the care for all those who decided to do the wrong thing at one point in our lives!!

get the goverment out of my personal life and let me be resposible for my past actions

industrially created as a side effect of partial hydrogenation of plant oils — a process developed in the early 1900s and first commercialized as Crisco in 1911,...Basically, trans fat is made when manufacturers add hydrogen to vegetable oil--a process called hydrogenation. Hydrogenation increases the shelf life and flavor stability of foods containing these fats.

At first, the argument was a financial one due to lower costs; however, advocates also said that the unsaturated trans fats of margarine were healthier than the saturated fats of butter.

Trans fat can be found in vegetable shortenings, some margarines, crackers, cookies, snack foods, and other foods made with or fried in partially hydrogenated oils. Unlike other fats, the majority of trans fat is formed when food manufacturers turn liquid oils into solid fats like shortening and hard margarine.

many years ago they blamed butter.which has no trans fat......said we should switch to margarines, it has lots of trans fat........now they want to ban a major component of margarine?

Both animal- and plant-derived food products contain fat, and when eaten in moderation, fat is important for proper growth, development, and maintenance of good health. As a food ingredient, fat provides taste, consistency, and stability and helps you feel full. In addition, parents should be aware that fats are an especially important source of calories and nutrients for infants and toddlers (up to 2 years of age), who have the highest energy needs per unit of body weight of any age group.

While unsaturated fats (monounsaturated and polyunsaturated) are beneficial when consumed in moderation, saturated and trans fats are not.

while it won't help one farmer over another....it's vegatable based....(it might help ranchers a little)...

the crap or actually the process is in alot of products...to many to actually name.....it will be followed by the call for eliminating high fructose corn syrup.....so look out........

more reading on trans fats and all the products it is in;

My solution....label it.....Tax it ...and fund the children's gym classes....

why ban it the Goverment recommended it?
