Just thought I'd share a few pics of our pasture land. Good burns are essential for maintenance, and some years are harder to achieve than others.
recent burn:
last years burn. One more good fire and it should be cleaned out good.
older burn, good grazing and good shade.
This hillside (in the distance) has been burnt well for many years:
Creek bottoms are a good scource of easy pasture, plenty of water.
Moving some die hard tame grass grazers off a high pasture who's grass has run out.
