Greetings from sunny Costa Rica

After reading a few threads, I wanted to introduce myself to this community. I look forward to sharing ideas with other forum members.

Many fine ranches here in Costa Rica. On the other hand, a lot of bulls, cows and horses run free so besides avoiding them on the roads, you will occasionally see a soccer game being played with a few horses just hanging out eating grass.

In addition, every Christmas, there is a huge fiesta where a bull ring is placed . From there, any local drunk or person with enough guts can go into the ring and taunt the bulls. No rules or anything. Pure crazy entertainment that would be illegal in the states just because of the insurance policies!

Best regards,

Richard

Welcome Richard... I don't think we've had anyone from Costa Rica on here before...You'll have to post some pictures of the country and cattle and horses...

Thats the neat part of this site- is seeing where everyone lives and all the differing ideas, methods, climates and ways of thinking...

Nice to meet you Oldtimer.

I must say, the best time of my life was when I spent three summers in Mayor Arizona at the quarter circle V bar ranch. Charlie Orme's place.

I will see what I can do to dig up some pictures.

I think it's like a discount Walmart. I have never been to one either. I think you even need a membership to shop there.

North of Panama and south of Nicaragua.

A small and relaxed country whose motto is "pura vida' which means pure life.

They have a large farming community and ranchers are well respected. In addition, there is great BBQ here!

1/3 the cost of the states. So living easy and well go hand and hand.

Welcome aboard, Richard! Please, please, please post pictures!

Like Jassy, I take mini vacations looking where everyone else lives :)

Jassy, we have a Costco in Billings, and we do have to pay for annual membership. Everything comes in large packages :) I love their huge potatoes, don't have to peel so many for mashed potatoes :)

"Outsourcing Business Services". Wages paid by his firm are 40% - 80% below those paid in the US. He is proud of these comments. Browse his website. Don't need his pictures.

Guys, it is a means to an end for several small companies that need assistance.

It may be a salary that is less in the US, but it is some of the higher paying jobs in the country.

In addition, the cost of of living is 1/3 the states.Imagine 50 cent beer and $5 a pound lobster.

Still, you have made a good point.

Those calls can be annoying.

Fortunately, the majority of my campaigns are inbound customer service calls or outbound follow up calls to existing customer bases.
