It's the same color here today with a gale blowing through. No snow or rain but the temp is in the low 40's with a wind and it's going into the 20's tonight. It's about time, it's been unusually warm.

Wow,you have lots of snow.We have NONE,its started Sunday but then was nice Mon. and totally melted,am I sad about that,no,nada, noway, happy as a matter of fact. But too be honest,I think its been too cold here for snow.

Some won't understand that last statement but its true,it has to warm up for snow :)

Pretty pics just the same.

How long have you had that much snow? It started here Sunday, melted a bit, and then we've had light flurries for a couple of days now. I think it's here to stay. Only a couple of inches so far, but that's enough for me. I DON'T want a repeat of last year.

I know exactly what you mean about being too cold to snow. I used to live in AB and that was quite often the norm. Cold temps and not much snow.
It didn't freeze here again before we got the snow, just like last year, now the snow will insulate the ground. The small lakes are starting freezing in pretty good now too.

We had our first 'snow of substance' (about 8 inches) on Nov 3, but after that we got some warmer temps and most of it melted. We then got another dump of about 6 inches on Nov 11 or 12th and its been too cold for it to melt , and thats what you're seeing in the pics.

I don't want a repeat of last year either. We had 4 feet of snow near the end of October last year  , they even cancelled halloween because everything was pretty much at a stand still.

Keep it up north!!!! We had snow flurries this morning- ended up with about an inch on the river bottom...Took mineral up to the cows still on pasture near the border- and they only got a skiff up there..... :)

I heard parts of the central and southern part of the state had up to a foot from a couple days ago :(

Been getting downright chilly-- down to 5-10 degrees at night- never got above freezing today... Weather boys say we could have 40's by the weekend :D :D :D
