service call on the tractor,damn Lucas electrical sytems.....trying to stay out of the way. keeps saying you not sitting on the seat , so won't let you shif and go....service man found no power to the switch, now looking at secmatics....
You know why the British dring warm beer...Lucas makes thier refigerators !!!

it look's like nothing's changed in 50 years, had a cockshutt 40 diesel deluxe with a lucas system. starter was twice as much to fix and broken twice as much as any of the domestic ones :wink: :lol:

Glad you got it fixed Jody, and that it was nothing major. after seeing your pic of a few days ago of you feeding the sheep on the deep snow, i was wondering what you used to feed with before you got that NH fwd? if anyone "need's" a tractor like that you gotta rate right up there. :wink:

had a international-case 885 no cab well my double crusier felson coat was my cab it could walk alot of snow but not the snow the NH can

Service man had to come back; we ended up replacing the wires and rerouting them thank goodness for cell phones, as the shop in 2 hours away.

Well he did'nt lose alot of money anyhow. :wink: Did he just break an axel otherwise he must have had some loose bolts between the rear end and the tranny.Some guy's destroy them other's get along fine me I have 3 of them and we get along quite well. Of course it helps to be a bit mechanically enclined as it does with most equipment.

the 3 point hitch busted right off with part of the frame
