Should businesses that choose to be "Gun Free" be held liable for those harmed/killed by rogue shooters taking advantage of those obeying the businesses gun rules and unable to protect themselves?

I'd say yes, and expand that to schools and federal buildings. But in a country where the IRS is used to target patriotic opposition, and businesses are sued for not catering to gay couples contrary to religious beliefs, don't count on it.

Once they dictate rules concerning your safety they should be responsible if you get injured or killed.

just as they are if they have any other danger, like a wet floor with no sign...



(for the record, I think suing a business for a trip or fall is wrong unless they deliberately caused the fall )
