What have yall heard about this? Its being debated on the floor of the Senate now....umm some of what I read scares the BJesus outta me.

Jul 29, 2009: This bill failed in the House of Representatives by roll call vote. The vote was held under a suspension of the rules to cut debate short and pass the bill, needing a two-thirds majority. This usually occurs for non-controversial legislation. The totals were 280 Ayes, 150 Nays, 3 Present/Not Voting. Vote Details.
You are not tracking any senators or representatives. To see their votes here, look up a Member of Congress.

Lack of trace back when there is tainted food.
BUT they did trace it back......so that is moot. There is ALWAYS trace back...Hail Freto Lay could tell you what field and which truck brought the pototes to the farm then how long they were held and which truck brought the potaoes to whcih plant and how long and what temp they were in route. Same thing with produce from mexico.
Again this goes back to congree NOT reading bills and slamming them through.
Is this a good bill to fix the real problem?
