My husband, whom I love more than life, did not take the outcome well. However, he flew to California today, and bless his heart, came face to face with a Union rep who got up into his face...and my husband, being who he is, got right back up into the Union reps face...and accused him of voting for someone other than McCain. This was not the best time for my precious husband to be confronted...won't go into what else he said.

Anyway...now might not be the best time to confront someone who was so against the way the election turned out. I'm mean that sincerely...trust me!

I'm sure Sandhusker is just frustrated from trying to talk sense to people that wouldn't listen. It IS kinda disappointing to realize that the majority in this country are so eager to penalize successful people. This election was a demonstration of class envy at it's finest - or maybe it would be more accurate to say at it's ugliest.

Sandhusker will be back. It's gonna be REALLY fun over the next four years - pointing out to the Obamaniacs all of their messiah's lies and failures. I'm really looking forward to that and I KNOW Sandhusker isn't going to want to miss out on it.

Maybe today with the election finally over the bank is busy???
That's possible. Maybe long lines making withdrawals? I know that I'm not the only person trying to figure out safer places to keep money. Now that I know Obama is going to be wanting to use MY money like it's HIS. :x

Alice..i know you're not speaking to me but just wanted to let you know that I agree with your post 100%. Not a time to console nor gloat about anything. Everyone reacts differently during the same situation so sometimes the best thing to do is nothing. BUT it is time for everyone to pray for our president elect and our country. If he does well, the USA will do well.

True Texan, I accept bamer. Not to say I am not going to keep abreast of what he does, as I will keep an eye on his actions. I am not going to be like the libs the last elections where they called for an impeachment before any action had taken place

I may be looking for a partner in opening a new Pawn Shop! Maybe we could start a chain from Ranchers.net connections? You see when things get really bad a Pawn Shop may be a Gold mine!

You're a good man, TB, and I agree with you 100%. This is no time for the usual partisan crap, whether your man won or lost. I still can't believe all the sniping STILL going on about Palin and Bush. Let's show them we can criticize without being an immature jerk about it.
