Azcowpuncher banned you.
duration : undefined

Sanction reason: Well i guess if your just gonna come here and browse around and hide like a coward , you can not be a member here . Sure is funny how you eat it up over there cause those folks hold you up like your some kind of gods gift to a cowman . Heck i have been nice to you and jb invited you here and then you talk trash about him and me over there . Well i guess we dont really want two faced folks here cause we are trying to have a good time . So with that said your just like the rest of the that crowd and not be welcome here . Sorry . Adios

well, Soap, I just don't know what to say. can't think I would call you a coward, suppose you are like the rest of us, and affraid of the wife from time to time, but that is by no means a coward.
not sure I would call you God's gift to cowmen.... I love your pictures, and think you do a heck of a job, but no body ever posts the crappy part of thier operation on here, so how can I judge you on that?
as for two faced, well you do run black AND red cattle....I guess there may be something to that claim.....

but when he said you are just like the rest of that crowd, well it made this fat boys chest swell up a bit. because being throwed into the same class as you, well that makes me feel pretty dang good!!!

although that also drags me in with Katrina, and that kinda stings!

welcome to the outcast club Soapweed!!

I am proud to be a member of the Outcast Club. :-)

If real cowboys act the way they do in the Cowboys and Buckaroos Club, baseball caps and ATV's are looking better to me all the time.

Golly gee-- I'm starting to feel left out--I'm the only one that hasn't been kicked off arizonas site   :P  ...I guess its my own fault since I never even tried to sign up...Went there, looked at it, and it didn't impress me...Then I saw the buckaroo name and knew I didn't fit- as that is a description that is seldom used in this country- and when it is it" usually something like "YOO HOO, BUCKAROO" in a flaming lilting lispy voice...

Besides that- I raised pigs once 40 years ago, so knew I was disqualified to be a buckarooooo    :P

Ranchers doesn't hang folk with city jobs. The closest thing I've raised to grass-eating cattle was a dog that ate grass when he needed to vomit. And they still haven't hung me or kicked me off Ranchers

It's okay rowel...... You can blow off steam here and you'll get nothing but atta boys and been there done that attitude..
I would be damn insulted to be called jigs.........
And there is nothing wrong with a town job.... Lots of us have them....

I asked a long time ,honest to goodness, cowhand that saddles his horse EVERYDAY and rides section after section in MT, and has done so for 30 yrs + , what exactly is a buckaroo?

He studied a minute, kinda played with the end of his mustache, spit, fiddled with his reins a bit and said, " Well I sure damed ain't one"

His definition was 99% akin to yours OT....but he added ' make believe, show cowboy"

Actually I had never heard the word until I read it in the Western Horseman, years back--then I thought they had gone flaming gay  I assume from reading WH its quite a common south western term...Just isn't used in these parts-- you hear "hand" or "cowhand" or "cowboy"-- something along that line---but Buckaroo is something for YOOOOU HOOOOOing too....

thank you all , and ive been around for afew months , just kept my mouth shut , observed, read the post and took advice as i saw it .and yeah i plan on sticking around i beleive their is a bunch of good folks on here . one thing i have seen on here is this and it dosent take a blind man to see this ,we are a group of people that have the same goal yet we handle cattle in ways that suit us , there is no normal way except slow and easy , the way we handle our cattle is the way best suited for us
ive seen a few things on here ive been amazed at and ive seen stuff that is so simple it dosent make since and stuff id never try or would of thought about .
anyway folks ill be around and i might post time to time but im best at keeping my mouth shut and eyes open.

The first time I heard the term Buckaroo was from a man I worked for from Omaha Nebraska in 1966. He called his boys little buckaroos.

There are a few Buckaroos around here and they don't fit in very well. It's an attitude they carry that makes it that way you can tell them before you see the huge saddle horns that go along with the egos.

I had heard it related to little kids-- and maybe even knew it related to the southwest- I think Buck Owens even had a group called the Buckaroos- but I know you dang sure didn't walk up to any cowboy, rancher, or cowman around here and call him a buckaroo  ...Not without expecting to probably get knocked on your butt....

Kind of the same way with the word bronco-- little kids rode their stick bronco's- cowboys rode bronks....

I'd better be on my best behavior in Calgary and not open my trap :!:
Never would have guessed you can't say bronco to a man. On the other hand, it might be fun to walk up to a cowboy, hold out my hand and say, "I always wanted to meet a buckaroo."
 By cracky, think I'll try that :!:
