Ranchers.net

This isn't a thread about rock climbing, hang gliding, white river rafting, or even bar hopping with our forum alcoholic.

No, it's actually something of walk down memory lane with our loveable bigot and hypocrite. I decided to post the thread because I was looking at some of OldBlabberMouth's comments about the evils of torture and even at this advanced stage of his dementia, I still can't believe some of the things that have come out of his mouth. I think you'll all get a kick out of seeing what he said then (R), versus today (D).

Yes indeed, OldMalleableConvictions is a real hoot. Feel free to add quotes of his that you may find here.....there are literally thousands upon of them. Apparently the only sound sweeter than the opening of a whiskey bottle, is the sound of his own voice.

What you call political correctness just happens to be laws, ideals, rules and regulations and a Constitution that our founding fathers brought forward and our belief in that has worked for over 200 years- and made our country the admired worlds leader it was ...One of the reasons the radical terrorists despise us so much....

The damage the Bush/Cheney crew have made to our rule of law- and our Constitution scare me much more than any AK-47 packing, sword wielding terrorist ever could- no matter what tribe or religion he/she/it belongs to....

This is what a country becomes when it decides that it will not live under the rule of law, when it communicates to its political leaders that they are free to do whatever they want -- including breaking our laws -- and there will be no consequences. There are two choices and only two choices for every country -- live under the rule of law or live under the rule of men. We've collectively decided that our most powerful political leaders are not bound by our laws -- that when they break the law, there will be no consequences. We've thus become a country which lives under the proverbial "rule of men" -- that is literally true, with no hyperbole needed -- and Mayer's revelations are nothing more than the inevitable by-product of that choice.

I never expected anyone who lives under 6 different alias's to understand honesty- truth- virtue- morality--- or in anyway to understand what living by the rule of law means....
:???: :???: :???:

The strength of this country for over 200 years hasn't been because of our economy greatness or our military might- its because of our ideals- and our founding beliefs in truth and justice for all- and our laws and Constitution that puts noone (not even King George or his Stooges) above those laws and our ability to always put our ideals and morality above those who oppose us....

Those gems were all from a single thread. When time permits I'll post more, many more. Isn't it a hoot to see the fat one trotting out the constitution and wraping himself in the rule of law while today he sits on his fat little hands as his Messiah takes a dump on the document and the concept of the rule of law.
