Other than a few sprinkles here and there we haven't gotten much, nothin measurable. But there was a shower sometime durin the night last night, I'll check on my way out the gate and see if it was measurable.

I kept thinkin off and on all day yesterday, "We're fixin to get wet" showers all around, pourin, but just was hit and miss. We were out workin on an electric fence charger that's not wantin to participate and be cooperative. Still aint after about 2 hours of messin with it. Then Mr Lilly workin on a shreader tryin to get it ready to go to work.

Lil Lilly and I did take time to ride around the pastures in the jeep. She needs to learn to let out on the clutch a lil slower LOL She does fine drivin all the other vehicles that are standard, but that one doesn't have much "let out" before it engages. Woo hoo, we're off with a Jerk LOL we checked on the lil calf that has the photosensitivity. (Mr Crunchy Nose) he's lookin better, and acts like he's feelin a whole bunch better, still hangin around under shade trees tho. But that's good since that's what he's sposta be doin.

Weather says we have 100% chance today, wonder if that lil shower before daylight was it??? I sure hope not. Sattelite looks like there's some really strong thunderstorms down around Galveston and Houston that'll be movin this direction durin the day.......hmmmmm reckon we orta start runnin haymaker?

Still no rain in east alabama. I have been feeding hay like winter for the past month. My first cutting of hay will be gone in two weeks and the second cutting just did not grow. I am still hoping for that 3rd and 4th cutting but we have to have some rain.

Hope you get it, We haven't had to feed hay yet, Our first and second cuttin's were fair, not up to the usual, but not as bad as we've seen it before. We got 3 bales to the acre this time, when normally we get 5 and 6 bales per acre.
