Naw,it dont rain around here,weather folks are sayin 60% storms tonite,I will believe it when I see it in the rain gauge,lots of differnce between the Hill country and East Texas as you know,yall are in cow country...........good luck

Well this is the first rain we've got since Ike, perdy much. We need it.

You could always up n move east. :wink: But then.......you wouldn't be in peach country no more. Man them Hill Country peaches is good!!!!

Well Ike aint been gone that long LOl, we aint got nuthin outa IKE or anyone else,been dry as a coverd bridge,I bet we aint had 5 inches of rain this year,and not much more than that last year.
hay crop was about one fifth of what a normal year produces.

Dry as we are,I wll take moisture in any form,I was lookin at the weather radar this morning,I see a good band of storms about 80 miles NW of me,sure hope they get here...................good luck

I sure hope you got some of this one. I know how it is to be out of grass and water. We were, two years ago. Very dry for two years, had to sell some cows. We've been good since then. It's raining hard here now.

You said now is the time to buy a truck. I need to buy a utility veh ( ie..Mule or Ranger , etc.) you think they are ready to cut a deal yet ??

I dont think they are in as bad shape as the car dealers,but with money being tight.....might be the time.

It's rained here allllllll day. And I mean flat gittin it. It's muddy as all gitout. Amazing how dry ground can turn to mud so quick LOL Startin to see run off as well. I think it's just comin down faster than the ground can soak it in. But that'll fill tanks and get creeks flowin.
