I miss Bush!

History is already showing us that President Bush wasn't the dummy the
libs made him out to be.

As far as speaking ability, I would much rather listen to someone who is sincere and loves America as an American hater who speaks with a forked tongue.

So why in 2008 did George W. Bush sign the U.S.–Iraq Status of Forces Agreement- which included a deadline of 31 December 2011- before which "all the United States Forces shall withdraw from all Iraqi territory". :???:

The last U.S. troops left Iraq on 18 December 2011, in accordance with this agreement....

Buckwheat did other stuff against Bush's wishes and blamed him for it.. Why couldn't he have broken Bush's deal? After all, we had already taken control of the country and could pretty much do anything we wanted to if we wished.

Deadline's mean little when you're talking about losing all the ground gained there.

But the again, you are pretty stupid.

My understanding is that Zero could have negotiated for troops to remain, but designed a deal that he knew would be declined by Iraq. At that point, he threw up his hands and walked away- smiling. He got what he wanted, Iraq didn't agree to his absurd terms.

Arab spring- destroy the stability of the middle east for radicals to take control.

It's a perspective thing. It all makes sense when you get it.

it appears they wanted to have an end point between hostilities and transitioning to a democratic government...

but knew the Iraqis wouldn't accept an open ended deal..

I guess Bush could be blamed for wishful thinking...

but who would have thought joe and barack couldn't reach a comprehensive deal in the next three years??? :?

I seem to remember the Bush crew's predictions a little difference from you folks do-- which may be the reason as the years have gone by I saw no brilliance in them!

Iraq was pacified. No dispute. Exit strategy? Remember when Obama was taking credit for the success of the surge, even though he voted against it? Obama altered the bush exit plan so he owns the results. No misdirection to the contrary will change this. Obama snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
