If it's good enough for the Blue Dog Democrats, it'll be good enough for me.

I support the U.S. addressing a need that has been ignored for several decades. We have fallen further and further behind the rest of the civilized world in our approach to healthcare. It has become a national embarrassment.

I'd say our debt is a more than a national embarrassment, it is a nose around our neck, and the Democrats are only kicking out a leg of the stool that we're standing on with the king of all boondoggles.

I agree Reader-- Its something that has been an issue for 30+ years- and was Bush's #1 campaign promise, so shows he recognized how bad the problem was- but was of the many promises he never fullfilled...It was the #1 issue of the voters of the country until GW put us into the Bush Bust- when the economy was the only issue that passed it...

If the Bluedogs go for it- I think some of the moderate level headed Repubs that don't buy into all the conspiracy and fearmongering stories being promoted by the rightwingernuts might too...
Its too bad- the (R's) have turned into the party of NO- when for years they let GW run unquestioned and give $ Trillions to his Big Oil/Halliburton/and Muslim High Mullah buddies-- but now when we look at improving the economy of the country and the lives of hundreds of thousands of people they don't care.....

reform is good for sure. Is the right type of reform, is it fiscally responsible?

if not, who's going to gain, those that oppose or those that blindly sign?

It's too bad that the majority of people DON'T WANT OBAMACARE, but the Democrats are going full speed ahead, anyway.

Wouldn't need to be fixing such a huge problem- if GW and the Repub Congress had fixed the problem back in 2000 as GW promised in the campaign to do (one of the major reasons I thought he recognized the problems that faced Americans) ....

But since it didn't get anything done- the voters in 2006 and 2008 kicked "the bums out" and got someone that would...

Now you will live with what you get because of another Bush screwup...

so how do you moveOn, how to do you fix the past problems, and provide solutions in the future.

How do we stop WWII from happening? What about WWI, does Obama have any solutions to that problem?
