One more time, Sage...I don't like the health care bill, either...and I've done what I can to relay that to my congressman and 2 Senators.

I do not like that there is so much urgency to have it passed.

I do not like, as this man states:
It is knee-deep in legalese and references to other federal regulations and laws.
...that in itself will lead to so much interpretation and misinterpretation that patients in need of care could suffer.

I do not like the notion that we cannot opt for private insurance should anything change within our existing policies.

I do not like that the real problem, the huge costs associated with hospital stays and treatments, is not being addressed.

I do not like the fact that no other alternate bills are being considered.

I do not like that this mountain of legislation was compiled and thrown together in such a short time...over something as important as health care.

And, I do not like the price tag.

I do, however, resent the fear factor from the likes of Rush and Ann that is being associated with it...example: death panels...mandated suicide counseling.

And I really, really resent Hypocrite who has left the United States to live in another country lobbing insults and incendiary garbage at the county he CHOSE to leave and using this bill as one of his many formats to do so.

Where is the proof that hypo has left the states??
You and reader point that finger yet have not shown any proof to the fact, and you are the one screaming for proof on another matter a little while back!!

Did you not write this, Sage.

Seems to me you are a lot more interested in finding something to gig me with than the fact I agree that this health care bill is not what it's cracked up to be?

The House bill mandates end of life counseling by government bureaucrats...MANDATES IT!!!

When a heavily burdened heath care system becomes over burdened, there will be limits to resources. Who receives healthcare will become an issue. Under the House bill, the decision of who gets healthcare will be decided by a government bureaucracy instead of patience, their families, and their doctors.

Rush and Ann are right on target with the truth!

It does not mandate it. I provides for it and mandates the government pay for it...not the patient.

"Conversely, services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic and should not be guaranteed. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia. A less obvious example is guaranteeing neuropsychological services to ensure children with learning disabilities can read and learn to reason."

Dr. Emanuel, Obama's top Health Care Advisor

Who will decide the basic services? Will you be restricted from purchasing these "basic services", with the readmission provision?

EVALUATION OF THE PASSAGES:

1. This section amends the Social Security Act

2. The government has the power to determine what constitutes an “applicable [medical] condition.”

3. The government has the power to determine who is allowed readmission into a hospital.

4. This determination will be made by statistics: when enough people have been discharged for the same condition, an individual may be readmitted.

5. This is government rationing, pure, simple, and straight up.

6. There can be no judicial review of decisions made here. The Secretary is above the courts.

7. The plan also allows the government to prohibit hospitals from expanding without federal permission: page 317-318.

find the quote.

I remember crediting you once for being correct, about my location, are you changing your opinion now?

This would be so much easier on you guys, if you realized that it does not matter in the grand scheme of things.

I hope you catch your tails soon, you're looking tired out.

Hypocrit-- you ain't worth the bother....In one of your rants trying to defend you weren't a communist plant- you said that you were an American that went to Canada...

But like I said- I don't expect you to remember all the BS you've thrown out here...No person could.....
Have your handlers dig out your old scripts.....
