Hello Guys I am new here

On ten acres one to two cows. If all I had was 10 acres I'd look into a confinement hog or poultry operation.Hauling feed year round to beef cattle is'nt feasable anywhere in the world as other countries have means to graze all year long.

Things in Pakistan and here in the US are so much different, neither of us can comprehend the diiferent ecconomic conditions, the agriculture base, or the way of life in each others place.

I commend you for looking for something different or out of the ordinary, for thinking out of the box, as they sometimes say.

If you want to raise cows, plan to feed them something that a cow can eat but humans can not. A cow requires about 2% of her body weight of feed dry matter bases a day. A 900 lb. cow would need about 2118 lbs. of 85% DM grass hay a day. This is not much information, but I hope it helps. Maybe it is something you can start with.

All of us here wish you the best, Good Luck.
