Hmmmmm.....We get a product called BioFreeze from the Chiropractor.....

A lady cold treat herself to a Cabanna Boy massage as well...I tease my wife that I went to Cabanna Boy school and came away with the motto, "Show me where it hurts, and I'll Rub it there, show me where it feels good and I'll rub it there to"

;-}

But seriously, I do a good massage...

PPRM---physician assistant pal of mine simply SWEARS by the Biofreeze you mentioned!!! Also good for sore, achy muscles is arnica gel you can usually find at any health store or drug store!! I still go by a heating pad, heated rice bag, or nice warm bath and advil (ibuprofen) or Aleve!!!

You might think this is weird but eat bananas. My spelling is bad but try to stick with me here. The potassium in the bananas will break down the latic acid in your system that is causing the soreness. Also take a HOT bath Then stretch, and icy hot is also a good source of pain relief.

MY wife loves using one of those heated rice bags... I hate the darn thing personally... I'm a big fan of advil, stretching and icing down right after serious exercise to keep the sweeling/inflamation down...

Bananas are great for cramping caused by the lactic acid build up... Used to have serious cramps durring athletics during HS in high heat situations. Bananas and lots of liquid seemed to keep me from cramping as bad during the events, never found a cure for those nasty calf cramps at 4 am except beating the crap out of my calf when it cramps.
