OK the 4 year old filly that I bought at the auction is falling apart before my eyes Big surprise and you may all add an "I told you so " OK the latest thing to happen is that all of her hair is falling out!!!! And I do mean all. The only places she is not bald is her mane, tail and neck. Everything else is coming out in huge clumps  When I got her she had a huge leg wound and rain scald. I have been feeding her for two weeks on all the hay she will eat and I was giving her 5 pounds of 20% fat feed which in the past has really helped with skinny TB. I am going to switch her to COB as she is not gaining on the 20% (weird but true) She gets a cup of canola and hoffmans added to the mix. I wormed her with Ivomectin last night, in case the first dose didnt catch everything. The vet is coming out to look at her leg in a couple day but I would love ideas on this hair deal! Mange? Lice? I have never seen either but it is not ringworm and rain scald does not make horse go bald... Is it that she is adjusting to her new diet?
