Does anyone know where I can get one of these online?

They are pocket size and allow for entries that a person can carry around with them for quick spur of the moment entries, perhaps they are called the Little Red Book?

Our feed and suppluy store looks crossed eyed when I asked them about this, Jeffers carries one "IF" you purchase XYZ from them.

Thanks................

bart.

If anybody wants a little pocket herd book, send me a PM with your address and I will shoot one off to you. I've got a bunch of them.

Hey Randi, check your vet clinic. My vet always gets cases of pocket calving books every year, free of charge. He just gives them out.

Your local farm centre should have them free too...

Yeah, he has calving booklets, and sometimes some that are a bit more in depth, but they just don't cover everything I want, so I buy little booklets and make my own. That way I have only myself to blame if I don't have what I want. I keep a calving booklet on the go for the calving season, then transfer everyone into my home made booklet when we send them out to pasture. I have room for descrip of cow/calf, tag #, CCIA #, breeding info, and weaning weight info. A lot more handy than hauling my binder with me, and it has most of the info I may want/need to know when out checking cows.

Randi, I'm like you. I always bought myself some little books and made my own. That way I could put in what I wanted and needed for my own sake. The premade ones didn't have what I wanted for the info I put in.

If anyone wants them red books I will gladly give them one. I receive about half a dozen a year from various businesses. They have, in my opinion, too many little pages to fool with. Ya need to write like an accountant to make anything fitin them.
