I have some better pictures, but these are the ones I was able to download with the high speed internet while I was in California. Boy, that was nice.

These are by the sea, or in the bay.

They call the rubber barriers "sausages", and you better not try to cross them if you value your life. They were put in by the Navy after 9-11. These pictures here were taken from a Harbor cruise we were on. The Navy uses Coronado Bay for docking their ships, and that is where these were taken from.

This is exactly like the one we went out on.

There is building going on everywhere out there. I could count up to 5-6 tower cranes about everywhere you looked downtown.

We were at Sea World and probably saw the guy that got taken down by the killer whale the other day. It was a good show. I have been to San Diego a number of times in the past, but this was the first for the kids. Most things were centered around them, so the sightseeing was held down to a minimum. I will try and load some pictures later that show the scenery more.

Oh these pictures are similiar to the ones I took last yr. at this time when we were in SanDiego, leaving for the cruise to Mexico. Oh how it brought back memories. It was a beautiful day when we were there also and all the Navy ships in the harbor was a cool sight. We didn't take time to see the zoo, but we did head down to the gaslight district, which I really enjoyed. There's so much more I 'd like to see there...another time, another trip, someday...
