Here's Something To Be REALLY Outraged About

I am going to sound cold but you cant have it both ways......yall WANTED the pictures of the returning flag drapped coffins shown, now they are. Now you dont want the "cost of war" to be shown? You cant pick and choose its its all or nothing.
I went a read the journal, no not looking to see the pic but to find out what happened. This tells me all I need to know

Some of Bernard's comrades asked to see the photos. In her journal she described them flipping through the images she had captured that day:

"They did stop when they came to that moment. But none of them complained or grew angry about it. They understood that it was what it was. They understand, despite that he was their friend, it was the reality of things."

R2, you are a hypocrite, plain and simple.

Everyone who says it's ok to publish that picture here is my question to you.

Would you want that image to be the last one you remember of your child, your friend, brother, nephew, cousin, boyfriend?

My sympathy goes out to Lance Coporal Bernard's family.
Semper Fi.

So first you're kissing rancher and farmer butt upthread and now you are whipping out the Marine's motto.

I could be wrong, but you don't strike me as someone who has been a farmer, rancher, or a Marine - or frankly who could be.

You remind me of my n'er-do-well cousin who calls pancakes "flapjacks" and Vietnam "Nam" (even though he was 5 when the war ended).

He likes put-ons as well.

Never been a Marine, but I respect them, do you?

Been a Farmer, respect them too, aren't they the guys that feed the World?

Badaxe, you better dye your hair, your marxist roots are showing.

Semper fidelis is Latin for "always faithful"

but I would expect you badaxe, to make fun of those that are "always Faithful".

Really?

What did you raise?

Let's hear something about it.

And don't go run off to google and cut and paste something.

Cattle, and that didn't take any googling whatsoever.

and don't worry, I'll keep my cattle knowledge to myself, until an opportune time, when I can expose you as the "Nonothing" that you are.

How's that man made Global Warming thing going for you lately? Still storing the manure in your pockets, so you can flush it later?

Really?

Where?

When?

What breed of cattle did you raise?

What was the average hanging weight on your steers?

What was your average meat yield?

How old were your calves when you weaned them?

How much did they weigh?

Dang, you take this Political Bull seriously, don't you.

take a bit of advice, don't try to make someone look stupid, when you know nothing about them.

It's bound to backfire.

Badaxe, "What was the average hanging weight on your steers? What was your average meat yield? How much did they weigh?

Most ranchers around here, and I'm talking real ranchers, couldn't answer those questions.

It sure would be refreshing to see a lib refute Hypo instead of going Alinsky on him.

You're taking a lot of time to look up the answers to those simple questions that anyone who raises cattle would know right off the top or their heads.

That's bunk.

Even if they are shipping everything to a sale barn, I don't know of many farmers or ranchers who don't have a couple of their own beef processed every year for themselves and friends and family at the local locker.

They might not have a large sample size for those numbers, but they should have a pretty darn close idea.

Like I said, you're setting yourself up to be embarassed. Or did I do that by not letting you know anything in the beginning?

Have you ever studied Political strategy before, Badaxe, or do you just follow along, and learn at a later date?

When you've got the rope in the shape of a noose, around your neck and ready to pull the lever, let me know, I'll let you know everything you need to know.

I have no idea what any carcass data was on any calf I have ever sold.

You've never finished a steer for yourself and found out what it yielded?

You must really trust your butcher!
