Hesston tractors were fairly common around here-for awhile. There is a filter in the back part of the tractor that requires splitting of the tractor when it's time to change. If I remember correctly, this was a little detail that wasn't mentioned although it became very important and ruined a number of the tractors. I don't remember if it was an engine filter or transmission filter. Seems like it was transmission. I would think finding parts could be an issue.
