We aren't in the hay business. However, I got tired of turning away potential leases because the number of cows I have doesn't match when a good pasture comes up. So, I bought some haying equipment to manage forage. One was a Clauss silage baler with wrapper. The baler seems to have electronic issues. So, i bought a Heston 550 that was a friends "extra baler".
One issue is the twine arm seems to bend. I noticed it after a plug up and the arm brought the twine under the anvil instead of over where the knife could cut the twine.. We got it bent up and it really looks like an old issue with the number of repairs on this.
I was gone to Utah and had a friend finish my baling. He called and told me it bent back down again.
