I found an old mailing from Bovagene, (Ben Lawson Fabulous Females) and he talks about Shoshone Viking GD60. I thought you might be interested in his comments. He had some semen for sale at that time (1999) and it was listed with other sires.

"Viking is one of the greatest female sires in the Angus breed. One of
11 bulls proven free of all genetic defects. The Midland Sale topper at
$50,000."

His Royal Rito bull is a Stack son and traces to PBC 707 IMF0203 4 times.

The folks we buy most of our bulls from used Royal Rito last year and have calves on the ground by him now that look impressive. I think we will be interested in buying some of them. We'll see how they look this fall.

I had asked Ben a few years ago and he did'nt have any but it may be worth a call it's amazeing what can turn up.

I've got a grandson of Viking right now he's a 2 year old and his calves have been all under 75#s at birth and look pretty nice but time will tell.I like him pretty well.
