Are ya froze solid this morning? A little nippy up here this morning, my thermometer says -50C. Looks like it's gonna be a nice sunny day though.

Ouch!! we are about -32C this morning with a little breeze. Probably low -40Cs with windchill. Another day and a half and we should warm up - the long range till the end of December shows up to +2C and lows mainly above -20C. :D :D :D

- 50 brrr

We are sitting at -29 no wind. All I had to do today was check cattle, kick the 2 inches of ice off the energy efficient waterers and put a few sm square straw bales in the bull shelter. Supposed to be - 40 tonight and the next couple of days without the wind chill . I am hoping I don't have to start my tractor until it warms up a little.

I hate winter.

I hate the brutal cold, I don't hate winter. I hate extreme heat far more than extreme cold.

I hope ya got them windbreaks built up like I asked. :D It was -27C here this morning and has warmed up to -24C this afternoon. Bright and sunny here also.
I do feel for you, after -40 chores are just not enjoyable any more. Maybe if that front gets down here it will "cure" a couple of chronics we are doctoring.

If Haymaker and his chronies have enough giggle juice maybe that warm Texas wind will start blowing north.
