Is it snowing yet? I see there is a Blizzard Warning down there.

Have a cold one

Not yet. Looks like we have a hundred percent chance of snow for tomorrow. The weather prognosicators usually don't stick their necks out quite that far, but time will tell.

Am I glad to hear you guys are getting this one and we're gonna miss it up north here...They say it will stay south of us...

Today was just beautiful-- I saw the temp at 46 once today-- old cows were just stuffed full of hay and laying around everywhere enjoying the sun this afternoon...Weather boys are saying pretty nice weather thru Christmas-- 30's to 40's and then a possibility it could turn colder toward New Years....

I wouldn't mind if it stayed like this until the end of March and then warmed up....

I'm a little further North than southern SD, but it's starting to mist here already, calling for changing to snow later today, and snowing into tomorrow along with plenty of wind...with that forecast, we got the tractor ready last night -- chains, blower, filled it up...now that we're ready for the "big" snow to come, it'll miss us for sure!!!!!

Here in NE Colorado it is snowing pretty heavy with 33 MPH wind last I checked. We're supposed to get 15-20 inches here. We haven't had one of these in years.

Looks like three or four inches of snow here, probably a 25 mph wind, and the temperature is 24 degrees. We got cattle situated in protected places, and some of them got the first hay of the season. Some haven't gotten any, yet. There was no school today, and I am betting it will be called off for tomorrow also.

Ok..for the Nebraska update south of Valentine...it's CRAPPY! With all the rain and ice underneath the 8-9 inches of snow today...it makes for lousey weather and not fun doing the chores! We lost power at midnight last nite, and so hubby and son was up at 3:00 a.m. going to my g-ma's house to hook up a generator for her to at least have heat. Then they went to our hired guys that have little kids..and hooked them up for awhile to get some heat. Our wonderful power crew got our power back on around 9:30 this morning...and all is good now. Jus wish the wind would die down...that always makes everything so much colder. Tomorrow will be another day...and I hope the sun will shine!
