tractor fell off the snow road yesterday afternoon. and end up high centered on the hard back middle. had to walk over a mile to get a shovel,. then back down and chisiled the snow out from under the tractor. the fork on front would just go down thru the snow and was no help getting out.30 inches of snow with soft ground under it.....

How do you like that tractor? is it a 6040? The dealership borrowed us a 6040 last summer while our 6070 was getting worked on. Used it to pull the baler and kinda liked it. After using it I'm thinking the 6070 is probably more than we need.

it a T6020, I use a old JD4040 on the baler.
had a old internatial case and it was just worn out, was out of hay but a neighbor sold me some, problem was needed to walk about 3 miles of snow to get to it. Banker oked me (rent a apartment with him in college one year :!: :D ), Looked but no used tractors and I think I got the best deal on the NHT6020. It has been a good tractor.

Your snow must be different then ours. :?

I can't pack a road just cut ruts that blow full and have to push through them again and again. :???:
don't get much wind here, and if it blow full , it just builds up higher to fall of from, not like the old team and sleigh those old ponies were good at waliking a snow road.
snow will stand on the corral poles, top of ence post and if it wet enought even pile up on top of barb wire.
