Why did he resign? We'll have to wait and see.

"CIA Director Porter Goss resigned unexpectedly Friday, leaving behind a spy agency still battling to recover from the scars of intelligence failures before America's worst terrorist attack and faulty information that formed the U.S. rationale for invading Iraq. Making the announcement from the Oval Office, Bush called Goss' tenure one of transition."

I heard some news reports last night that he was "shown the door" or was "asked to leave." It will be interesting to know what really happened. If we ever do.

I trust that dis will update us as more info becomes available. At least on one side of the story. We can count on you for that, right dis? :D

There are a couple of stories out already. One is that he's involved in the Watergate-gate prostitution, poker party thing being investigated.

The other is that he stood up to Negroponte, Bush's intelligence czar, about the mission of the CIA.

It was interesting, though, that we got to see a tape of the resignation. You'd think they would have edited the tape and took out all of Bush's "uhh" "uhh" "uhh"s. Or let him practice before the taping. The press wasn't allowed to ask questions. And it was done at the slowest part of the news cycle, Friday afternoon.

Whatever the reason, we've got FEMA in worse shape this year just before hurricane season than last year and the CIA is probably in worse shape than before 9/11. But, hey, those of you with "faith" in George W. Bush, just keep on keepin' on.

By the way, I hear some right wing Christian group is mad at Bush because of his ineffective praying. They say if he was a competent prayer, this country wouldn't be in such a mess.

Well, you know that sometimes it IS really hard to find something good to say about someone? Sometimes it causes one to stutter or stammer. For example:

Even dis...uhh...can't be...uhh...uhh...ALL bad. Everyone has at least...uhh...one...uhh...uhh...redeeming quality. :D

 That's kind of out there. Do you by chance happen to have a link?

Let us recall how far shrub has advanced...he has learned to read from a teleprompter.
What you should recall is how stupid all of you liberals say he is. How dumb. Such a moron. Just now learning to read from a teleprompter. But he was still able to outsmart all the dems and get them to support his "personal war." He's so stupid, but he's still smarter than you libs. That's what you should recall.
